"my goodman central air conditioner"
i have had my central air conditioner for six years. i like that the air conditioner can cool down any room i choose. i do not need a box hanging out of a window to cool down my house. i like that my house can get as cold as i like, and be able to be comfortable. i do not like the summer heat so having this machine is really awesome. i dont think that there is anything about it that i dislike. i probably dont like that it is so bulky on the outside of my house. i can not really make it disguised so people dont see the big box. i have not had to repair or replace my central air conditioner since i have purchased it. i would definitely buy this brand again because it is reliable, useful, and works great. if anyone asked if i could recommend a central air conditioner i would definitely say that goodman is the way to go.

"Great AC Unit for the Money"
I just bought this AC unit about 3 months ago and I have been very happy with it so far. It runs very quietly and cools my house very nicely. What I really like about it is the control top feature allows it to run with almost no noise at all which was a major problem for me with my last unit. It is also very efficient and does not increase my electrical bill by that much compared to my last AC unit. There is nothing that I have found that I do not like about it. I have not had to do any repairs on the unit as it is still brand new. I have recommended this unit to all of my friends and I would buy this brand again. The Goodman air conditioner is the best AC unit for your buck in my opinion. I expect it to provide me with many years of cool air.

"I Love My Energy Efficient Goodman Air Conditioner"
I have owned my Goodman central air conditioner for five years now and I have to say it is one of the best on the market. It runs in the middle energy efficiency wise but that is still very good. I like the energy efficiency, keeps my electric bills low; I like how quiet it runs, how well it cools my house. Also the best part, I have had NO PROBLEMS IN FIVE YEARS! I really have no complaints about my Goodman central air conditioner. I would buy the same brand again because of all the details listed above, not that I will need to based on how well it is running now. I would recommend this to a friend to because of how much I like it and how cheap it was for the high quality I got. Overall, I would give my Goodman central air conditioner Five Stars...

"Reliable Air Conditioner"
I have owned a Goodman central AC for over nine years without any trouble. I have the unit serviced at the beginning of every season and I keep it clean and debris free. I am purchasing a new home and I need to replace the existing Carrier which is not working. I have had such good success with Goodman that I decided not to even shop around. I am in the process of hiring an A/C contractor currently.

"My Air Conditioning Unit"
I have recently built my personal home and installed a Goodman air conditioning unit. I have went with this brand due to the price and the warranty that is behind it. I have sold many of these units and have not had a problem with them and if a problem were to arise it was covered under warranty. I decided to put this brand of unit in my personal home due to these facts. Many people do not know that most a/c units have the same parts such as compressors, contactors, ect and many people will not purchase a Goodman unit. Goodman does not advertise like other brands such as Trane and Carrier and this is why many people refuse to purchase them. I am very satisfied with my unit. It is now 5 years old and I have not had a single problem with it. I would recommend this brand of unit to anyone that is thinking about purchasing a new a/c system for their home or business. This unit comes with a 10 year compressor warranty, 5 year parts warranty and 1 year labor.

"Choose your Contractor"
After reading most of the reviews on this site, It really appears that most of the bad reviews actually refer more to workmanship and installation quality rather than the product itself. Leaks are due to poor workmanship of the installer and a company that doesn't return your phone calls is not a reflection of Goodman quality. Airwest, inc. has been responsive and my equipment has performed properly.

"Katrina Goodman"
When we returned home after Katrina we found our Goodman laying in the backyard but still attached to the house. It was hot so I turned it on. Worked fine. 5 years later still works fine. When it does finally fail I'll replace with another Goodman !

"I love my central air."
I purchased our central air conditioner about a year ago. Where I live at it would sometimes get up to 98 degrees in the summer which is really unbearable with the humidity level high. When I first looked around at central air units, price was one of my major concerns. I decided to go with this particular model because it is highly efficient. Compared to when I was using the window ACs it has drastically lowered the price of our bill. It also uses a ozone layer friendly gas which I also liked. The contractors who put it in were fairly quick about it. From seeing them install it, it looked pretty easy to do. This particular model has lights for when it needs maintained or serviced which is really going to help out my wallet later on. So far I haven't had to have it looked at. Over all I am very happy with the way it performs. Lower bill and great cold air without having to lug around boxy window ACs. I really enjoy it and would recommend this brand to my friends and family.

"Cool and comfortable!"
We installed this central air conditioner in one of our rental properties last spring. We chose it because it has a reputation for being effective, efficient, and also easy on the environment because it doesn't release substances that contribute to ozone layer damage. That's important to us. We also picked this model because it has a diagnostic module that detects problems and informs the contractor about them using a series of codes. This means that our contractor or repairman has an easier time diagnosing and fixing the problem, and saves us money on per-hour labor. This is a huge plus, especially because the unit is installed on rental property that we want to maintain financially profitable for us. Our Goodman unit runs quietly and has not yet had any problems. Our tenants have been very happy with the unit, and report that it keeps the house comfortable even on very hot and humid days. However, their energy bills have actually become lower since we installed this air conditioner, since this unit is so much more efficient than the one we had on that property previously. It's quiet and unobtrusive. I'd recommend this unit without reservation!

"This Summer I Will Be Better Prepared"
Three summers ago I was unfortunately greeted with the failure of my air conditioning unit so I made the decision and commitment to install central air conditioning into my home. After reviewing the advantages and disadvantages of central air conditioning and couldn't help notice the advantages out weight the disadvantages and so I almost instantly called my local contractor to install my new Goodman unit. Since the installation I've been pleasantly surprised as how efficient this unit is comparable to standard window units. The only draw back I can recollect is that my unit was in need of repair almost 6 months after its installation which I feel was the result of the season changes and not the unit itself. Despite this set back I would still give my recommendation to friends who are in the market for central air conditioning. In addition, I dont think there is anything to dislike about this air conditioner because it is virtually maintenance free.
