"Bryant is Junk"
Put a new unit three years ago, first year unit didn't work. Had too many service calls to count. They got it working at the end of the season. Next year the a/c didn't work, they had to replace the outside unit. Here it is the third year, it is not working at this TIME. Paid 4K three years later still having problems. I'm replacing with a Carrier, tired of all the problems, will never buy a Bryant AGAIN. Doesn't seem right that someone can take 4K of your money and all you get is screwed.

"Never again"
I had a new fv4bnf003 Heat Pump top of the line installed March 2004.Since then I have had 4 compressors failed, and now the inside evaporator cooling coil has a leak. The unit I replaced when I bought the house was a Lenox that was almost 25 years old and still working fine. This Bryant has broken down every year except for the last 2 years. Now the inside unit is bad...$2000 to replace the cooling coil.

"Compressor Problems"
I think these units are defective. I installed three new units in my new custom home in 2005 & presently one compressor is broken and has been for almost two months - trying to resolve issue with Bryant. Anyway, the compressor has gone out on all three units - two of the units two times in addition to numerous other problems. I have spent $10,000 on repairs over 7 years - I am pursuing legal action because I think the units were defective when they installed them. These were supposed to be top of the line units. Further, the company has been difficult to work with. to deal with. I would not recommend their products to anyone. Personally, I think they should have recalled these units & think a class action lawsuit might get their attention.

"Would not buy Bryant again"
System installed in custom built new construction. After two years of use (maybe 4 months each year), experienced a coolant leak in the condenser. Parts covered by warranty, but labor was $1,600. Was told it was very unusual. Two days later saw the vendor's truck at a neighbor's one year old house. Same problem. I will never buy another Bryant product nor will I use the local distributor again.

"GREAT QUALITY PRODUCT"
Most people who are on here complaining don't know anything about ac units. bryant units are totally assembled in the United States and most parts are made here as well. Some coils have been imported from Mexico but that is mostly on there lower line equipment. Most of there coils are made in Indiana at the factory. There compressor are mostly Copeland which is made in the United States. Like most all products you find they do have an occasional problem. Most of the problems you would encouter are from poor installations.

"Bryant evolution"
Installed my bryant system in 2007, 5 years later my compressor and wire harness must be replaced. The cost to me for parts and labor is $3,095.81. My dealer serviced this unit every year and told me it was fine, and then out of no where it burnt up. While the compressor is still under warranty, my dealer has no explanation why this happened and that's the best they can do. Do not buy this bryant a/c product. I only use it 4 months out of a year!!!

"Worst decision ever"
I have 19 year old home with 4,092 Sq Ft. The old a/c system went out after 15 years. no major problems. It was just old and leaked and needed repairs every year. My a/c guy sold us 2 split system Bryant 598b Evolution a/c systems installed in 2008. Cost $7,000ea installed. Total of $14,000 After 4 pleasant years of very efficient usage, the downstairs condenser in the attic began leaking so we bought a new condenser. $1,800 installed. why was this not under warranty? Yesterday the upstairs compressor unit locked up with no warning. Estimate $3,950 for whole new unit or $1,500 for compressor replacement (labor only if Warranty kicks in for parts). Wtf?? This system should run for at least 10 years with no trouble. I may sue for damages. Bryant products are crap! I will never buy another Bryant product. ever!!!!

Review:
"Terrible Product with Terrible Support"
I purchased my Bryant Unit in 2005 to replace an ancient ac unit that was no longer working. This year (2012) after my apartment being unable to get below 80 degrees I've been told that my compressor is bad and needs to be replaced. Bryant has a 10 year warranty policy if you register the unit. However, they did not allow you to register units until after 2007. I was told therefore that there is simply no warranty period. When I asked if they expected me to ever buy another Bryant product given that this one died so quickly I was told that is up to me, but they will not honor a warranty period (in a borderline rude delivery). My neighbor still has the ancient unit and it runs great. Unless Bryant somehow resolves this issue, I will never recommend their product.

The coil is leaking after 6 years and costly repair or total replacement is needed. Total junk of an A.C.
