"Two units working fine"
I have a duplex, built in 2001 with Armstrong units on both sides. This is the first year they needed service, one had low freon, the other just a little low. Units work great but are a bit undersized and run all day on very hot Kansas summer days.

"The True Comfort of Home!"
I had my Armstrong Air Conditioner installed over six years ago! I have never had a problem with this unit! During this heat wave in the Midwest, I can honestly say I was anxious to get home, because I know my house will be cool as a cucumber because my Armstrong Air Conditioner is the best!

After reading all the reviews, I have found one common thread. Every complaint is blaming the equipment when the causes stem from the installation. I haven't had any issues with mine because it was installed properly. If you have anything installed and it doesn't work as promised call the manufacture and they send out a rep (no matter what brand). You will get answers and the installing company is usally held responsible.

"Quality Air Conditioner"
I owned this Armstrong condenser unit since 2004 when I bought the house it's installed at. The unit itself has worked well since I've had it, and is currently performing this summer. It provides quick cooling if I need to bring the temp down. Being a larger unit than I previously had, the electricity bills can get high if it's hot and humid for prolonged periods in the summer. I have never had to repair or replace any parts, nor have I performed any maintenance to this point. The condenser coils are still clean and don't appear to need cleaning. The unit is fairly quiet when running, but not noticeable from indoors with the windows closed. This unit was manufactured in 2002, so I plan to have it for at least another 5 years. Since I've had no trouble with this unit, I would definitely recommend it to a friend or family member, and will probably replace it with another Armstrong when the time comes. Overall, a quality product with no downside so far.

"I have installed Armstrong Air products for 5 years"
I am a HVAC contractor and I have installed Armstrong Air products for 5 years now and haven't had one call back. If equipment isn't installed correctly it will give you problems. I have more call for Trane products that is still under warranty more than any products.

"A/C man"
Most of all heating and air problems is due to one of two things, no matter the name brand of system. 1. It wasn't installed according to spec. Meaning the company who installed it wasn't well enough trained on product, and how it is to be installed. 2. Home owner does not have system serviced on regular bases. Dirty coils both indoor and out WILL cause premature failure and this is NOT covered under warranty. NOTE: Armstrong has a 10 year P&L warranty; to get this, it MUST be registered.

I have installed the armstrong air conditioner at my home 2ton unit. This is a nice air conditioner having low noise and blowing nice cold air. I have installed the high efficiency air conditioner which is saving my lot of bills
