"STINKS"
Needed a compressor after 2 years, waited 2 weeks for a replacement in 90 degrees weather, nothing. Would have taken a sledge hammer to it, if it wasn't under warranty. Had a "carrier" before this and never had any trouble like this. Will never recommend or buy anything Armstrong again!!

"A TREE OF LEMONS!!!!"
I've had continuous problems with this unit since its installation. I’ll include the phone number of the installer and the service technician that has been servicing the unit. Since installation I’ve reinstalled: • a new condenser motor • New liquid drier • New compressor • New capacitor • Another new compressor • And then this week another new condenser motor And it still doesn’t work for more than 20 minutes before the unit stops and blows hot. I am highly dissatisfied with the Armstrong Air product.

"Simply Awful"
This air conditioning unit has been nothing but a problem. Last summer we were left without air on FIVE separate occasions, and this summer we have had two incidents within a few days! We have used a handful of service companies, so it cannot be a problem with the repair people. We are out quite a bit of money and the costs continue to rise. I strongly recommend AGAINST purchasing an Armstrong unit!

"OK until it breaks"
We installed an Armstrong package unit a few years ago. On Dec. 28 we discovered that the heat exchanger had cracked. Armstrong/Alliedair is unable to provide a heat exchanger under warranty. In the meantime, we're left in the cold, literally.

"dissatisfied"
We have had this unit for 3 years and both the compressor and fan have gone down. These were still under warranty but had to pay labor charges of $725.00.

"Will not Buy Again"
I have had this Armstrong Air Conditioning Unit for 2 years and 3 months and the compressor has already gone out. I have had several service companies out here and all they can tell me is the compressor is locked. So yes parts are covered under the warranty but labor is not. Just for labor the lowest estimate so far is 500 dollars. This is the second time I have had to have this unit fixed.

"Warning! Do not buy Armstrong"
Due to the size of our house we have two Armstrong Central Air units. Both were installed new 6 years ago. Unit one has had problems ever year and we were told this spring that it either needs a new coil for $1,500 or we need a new unit. Unit two has now started to have problems. Please, Please due yourself and your family a favor and avoid this product. I'm considering having them both removed and having a more reliable product installed. I can't take it any more. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

"Unreliable"
Does not keep our home cool if it's above 80 or so outside and has broken down twice in less than 2 years. Very disappointed. I would not recommend Armstrong at all.
