"Amana 2-Stage 18 Seer AC"
Just recently bought a new furnace and AC. I bought the 2-stage compressor with 2-speed blower fan 18 seer ari#4654769. I bought this with a matching furnace AMVM961005DXA-modulating gas valve, with variable speed blower 96% efficient (gas). I can say that this is the best unit I have ever owned. Replaced a relatively new carrier furnace and AC that was poorly installed by Pulte Homes and Beautler AC company. Had a notorious freon leak that they could never repair and all ducting improperly sized. Replaced all ducting with new 16+in returns from all rooms and common areas. AC unit outside is so quiet, I cannot tell if its on especially in 1st stage cooling. House stays at 72F all day and electrical bill is ridiculously low. Unit has the lifetime compressor/heat exchanger. Beautiful warranty and better than other products I have (York/Carrier, etc). I would highly recommend Amana even though they are made by Goodman. The product quality is there and you can't beat the warranty. Just need to find a reputable dealer/installer to put it in right.

"Extremely Pleased With System"
I had an Amana ASXC18 installed 2 years ago and it has not broke down yet. The unit is extremely quiet (I enjoy having conversations with my neighbors and not hearing the A/C unit as we are standing 10 feet away from it). I've read some pretty nasty comments on here. Some of the techs on here say it's all about installation and I guess they are right. So far I have seen a big drop in electric bills and the unit cools the house great. Going with a smaller unit was a great choice since bigger isn't better and our old system was oversized (That's probably why it lived a short life). The variable speed air handler is a must-have. The company who installed the system did an excellent job and made sure everything was working the way it should. I would recommend Amana to anyone and I have so far to my neighbors. Couldn't be any happier.

"I Have 2 ASX14 Seer Amana Systems"
I have 2 ASX14 seer Amana systems in my home. They are great! Much better than the Trane- junk they took out. My electric bill also went down almost half! I had my contractor Triskele management 732-709-7770. They have installed my house and 3 of my friends' house here in New Jersey. The contractor knowledge has a lot to do with it. Not the equipment. "Very Happy with Purchase"
Spent $7,500 for my 14 seer unit and everything has been great. I know it seems that so many reviews said this was bad equipment, but I have had zero issues since 2010. Amazing how everyone goes with the cheapest installed price and then claims the equipment is bad. Pick you installer correct and the equipment runs great!

Very pleased with my Amana unit. It's much quieter than my old unit and my neighbors new unit. It's been far more efficient and the warranties that it comes with are top notch. I'd recommend Amana to anyone.

Like said I think its all about who installed the unit. Installed a 13seer amana march 2012. Great unit so far. Set at 78 and its to cold for me. As for the warranty I am sure I paid extra for this but I am ok with that because for next 20 years everything is covered parts and labor and the compressor lifetime. I installed a amana furnace at the sametime and same type warranty and I am just as happy. a Big Thank To The good guys in appleton wi. I can not say enough about how good they where from start to finish. Will again as needed in the future.

"Great System"
I had 2 Amana systems installed in my 10 year old home. The older units were what the builder put in and when the repairs started increasing I decided to change out both systems. The company I worked with did a great job and the systems are cooling my house better than ever. I use to have to set my thermostat at 68 just to stay comfortable in the Summer and now we keep it set on 74 and it is cold. Our utility cost has dropped by over 50% during the Summer.

"Best Warranties Available."
The best warranties in the industry! The product is great but of course the installation is key. We replaced a nearly 27 year old Amana Air Conditioner and if we live long enough we'll buy another Amana.

"Amana Is Top Of The Line."
The problem with the internet is any one can slam anything or anyone, any other mfg can smear the other homeowner. Facts are the people that are very happy with their Equipment on any Mfg model are not out here venting their problems. Trane Carrier Amanna Goodman all are good units How they are installed and maintaned or used, I love it on a service call. when I go out for a problem there always a New filter and the unit shines. Stop by without calling and I have found no filter installed or so dirty that it was about to be sucked up. I'm going to sum this up. How can every other person be happy and five stars and every other bitting the Bullet, Find out the truth, there a lot more to every story, Installation is the key, Outlaw DIY and 99% of the problems will be solved.

My Amana ASX 14 has kept me cold for 12 years. The ac keeps running and has never given me a issue. Happy customer.
