Aire-Flo's AFAIR12B is a 12 SEER air conditioning unit with the cooling capacity of 1.5 to 5 tons. Although the manufacturer no longer produces this unit, the company once promoted this series for its quiet, durable performance. It features top air discharge, a Copeland scroll compressor, a protective hail guard, and a heavy-gauge pre-painted cabinet and base made to resist corrosion. All units are factory-tested before shipment.
With seven different models available, the AFAIR12B series offers a selection of units in different sizes. All units feature strategically positioned service valves, accessible electrical panels and external brass service/shut-off values, all designed to simplify maintenance and service.
Additional components of this series include built-in thermal protection and pressure relief valves in the scroll compressor, liquid line-filter drier to prevent moisture and damage, a permanently lubricated condenser and copper tube condenser coil.

"Has been a workhorse"
I had this unit installed in a 1000 sq ft home to which I had done an extreme makeover. New everything including hi-eff windows, attic fan, metal roof, insulation, new wiring. Unit was installed in Feb 2004 and it has never had a down day since it was installed.

"After 8 years"
After 8 years, our Aire Flo 12b30a works really well. We have had no issues at all.
